Who operates OurVeliora

OurVeliora is operated by ORIZON SYSTEMS LLC. This policy covers the OurVeliora website, installed web app, and native mobile applications.

Information you provide

Account details; parent, child, family, and caregiver profiles; routines, milestones, notes, goals, health and sleep logs; photos, files, memories, messages, feedback, and settings you choose to add. Child profiles are private and are not publicly discoverable.

Information created during use

We process sign-in and session identifiers, feature activity, device and browser details, crash and security diagnostics, notification preferences, and approximate technical location such as IP-derived region. We do not sell family data or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, keep family spaces separate, provide requested features, personalize Babi, generate summaries and keepsakes, send requested notifications, support users, prevent abuse, debug failures, and comply with law.

Babi and AI processing

When you use an AI feature, the information needed for that request may be sent to configured AI providers under service agreements. Babi can be wrong and does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace a pediatrician, therapist, teacher, emergency service, or your judgment.

Service providers and sharing

Our current service providers include Vercel for app hosting and delivery; Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage; OpenAI for requested AI features; Resend for service email; Sentry for error monitoring; and PostHog for privacy-filtered product analytics when enabled. A payment provider will be identified here before paid features launch. These providers process information only for the service purpose involved. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or the service, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Caregivers and family sharing

The family owner controls invitations and roles. Invited caregivers can see only the information allowed by their role and the family features used. Review access regularly and remove people who no longer need it.

Security and retention

We use encrypted network connections, account-scoped access checks, private storage, short-lived file links, and operational safeguards. No system can promise absolute security. Active account content remains while the service is used. When an account is deleted, production records and private files controlled only by that account are removed; limited security, transaction, backup, dispute, or legally required records may remain for the shortest applicable period before deletion or de-identification.

Your choices and rights

You can review and correct information in the app, manage caregivers and notifications, request an export, or permanently delete your account in Settings or at our public Delete Account page. If another owner remains, their shared family space stays with them; a family controlled only by the deleted account is removed. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an explanation of processing. We verify account ownership before acting on sensitive requests.

Children

OurVeliora is a parent- and guardian-directed family service, not an independent social account for children. Children do not create accounts. A responsible adult must create and manage the family account, attest that they have authority to provide a child's information, and supervise Child Mode. Before each Child Mode session, an adult gate explains that activity progress and rewards are saved privately to the family space. Child Mode has no public profiles, behavioral advertising, or unrestricted external links. Babi Play is guided rather than open chat: a parent separately enables push-to-talk voice for each child, the requested audio is sent to the configured speech provider for one-time transcription, and OurVeliora does not retain the raw recording. Babi may save small child-specific learning observations—such as an explicitly stated interest or completed activity—only when learning is enabled. Parents can review, confirm, forget, reset, or pause that learning. Siblings' play profiles remain separate. If we learn that child information was provided without appropriate adult authority, we will remove it.

International use and changes

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. We will update this policy when practices change and give appropriate notice for material changes. Continued use after an effective update means the revised policy applies.
